With our open bluSensor® APIs (developer interfaces) you can easily integrate our sensors into your applications and systems. All functions of our sensors are available; current sensor values such as temperature and humidity, data logger with configurable intervals, sensor limit values, alarms and LED. To make it easier for you to get started with development, we offer training courses or support you throughout the entire development process. In addition, we help you with the integration into your systems and IT infrastructure.

Available Developer Interfaces

Bluetooth GATT

All our BLE sensors are equipped with a Bluetooth Low Energy GATT interface. This can be used to integrate our sensors into your apps and websites. For more details on integration, see our GitHub page.

MQTT

All our Wi-Fi sensors have an MQTT interface. MQTT is the IoT industry standard for sensor data and is compatible with many IoT systems. For more details on integration, see our GitHub page.

REST API

All our IoT sensors have an HTTP REST interface. This API also offers the possibility to access historical data and to store device configurations. More details about the integration can be found on our GitHub page.

FAQ

Can any sensor be used with all interfaces?
No. BLE sensors support only Bluetooth GATT. Wi-Fi sensors support Bluetooth GATT and MQTT. IoT sensors support Bluetooth GATT and our REST API.

How can one dedicated API be activated on a sensor?
Every sensor can be configured by our bluSensor® App

Is a unique ID assigned to every sensor?
Yes. Every sensor has a worldwide unique ID.

Do IoT Sensors support certificates and encryption?
Yes. Every sensor can be configured with a certificate and all communications will be encrypted.

Which devices can be used as a developer kit?
All our BLE and Wi-Fi devices can be used as developer kits. This includes the BSP01, BSP02 and BSP03 models.
