Cloud, App, MQTT and Modbus TCP

The BSP03 platform combines everything in one compact device: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, exchangeable sensor plugins, 2 relays and a PT1000 connection. Depending on requirements, various sensor modules are available – from air quality and CO2 to particulate matter. The modules can be easily swapped, making calibration and on-site expansion straightforward.

The devices can be managed via our cloud app or integrated directly into existing building management systems via MQTT and Modbus TCP. Operation in local networks without internet access is fully supported. Via the D2D function, devices communicate directly with each other via Bluetooth – for example, a relay can automatically control heating valves based on temperature data from a paired sensor.

Thanks to flexible power supply via 12V-24V adapter or terminal connection and simple wall mounting, installation is done in minutes.

Flexible Power Supply

Supply via a 12V-24V power adapter or directly via the 24V terminal connection. Ideal for integration into existing building technology infrastructure without additional power supplies.

Wall Mount

Quick and easy mounting on wall or ceiling with the included bracket. Compact housing design for discreet installation in offices, schools and buildings.

Sensor Plugins

Sensor modules are exchangeable and can be swapped easily. This enables quick on-site calibration and flexible expansion with new measurement parameters.


Cloud and Local Network

Integration into the bluSensor® Cloud or existing Building Management Systems (BMS). The devices also work fully in local networks without internet access.

MQTT & Modbus

MQTT is the standard protocol for all devices. For BMS connectivity we additionally offer an MQTT-to-TCP Modbus Bridge software that is installed directly on the BMS PC.

D2D Communication

Devices pair directly via Bluetooth (BLE). Configurable logic templates trigger automated actions, e.g. controlling heating valves based on temperature data.

Air Quality with VOC Index

The BSP03AIX is the cost-effective air quality sensor with VOC index. It monitors volatile organic compounds (VOCs), humidity and temperature. The sensor is long-term stable and ideally suited for permanent use in buildings, schools and offices.

Air Quality with CO2 Sensor

The BSP03AIXC offers all functions of the AIX and additionally features a high-quality CO2 sensor (NDIR). This makes it particularly suitable for schools, offices, conference rooms and other indoor spaces where CO2 concentration is an important indicator of indoor air quality.

Particulate Matter

Particulate matter is one of the most dangerous pollutants for the human body, causing diseases such as bronchitis and asthma. The sensor monitors the smallest particles (fine dust) in your buildings, offices, apartments, warehouses or workplaces. Through the use of the latest sensor technology (contamination resistant), the sensor measures reliably and precisely over its entire service life of more than eight years.

bluSensor® BSP03TEM

Temperature with PT1000

The BSP03TEM features an external PT1000 probe for precise temperature measurement. It is ideally suited for continuous temperature monitoring in buildings, warehouses, cold rooms or production facilities. The external probe allows flexible placement even at hard-to-reach measuring points.

bluSensor® BSP03RELAY

Smart Relay for Building Automation

The BSP03RELAY features 2 relay outputs for 24V loads and enables intelligent control of heating valves and other devices via Wi-Fi. Using the D2D function, the relay can be paired directly via Bluetooth with any bluSensor® sensor – a classic thermostat use case, but with many more possibilities: For example, particulate matter, CO2 or air quality sensors can also be paired to automatically control ventilation systems.
